L'appartamento si trova nel quartiere di Santo Spirito a due passi da tantissimi monumenti come la basilica di Santo Spirito, Palazzo Vecchio ed il Giardino di Boboli. Un tempo meno conosciuto dai turisti rispetto ad altre zone del centro storico, oggi Santo Spirito sta conoscendo una grande rivalutazione certificata anche dalla guida Lonely Planet che lo ha definito "il quartiere più cool del mondo".
Come arrivare all'appartamento
Dalla stazione ferroviaria di Firenze, Santa Maria Novella, si può prendere un autobus, in particolare le linee C4 e 11 di ATAF. Nei pressi della stazione si può anche prendere un taxi e raggiungere l'appartamento in pochi minuti. Dall'aeroporto Amerigo Vespucci di Firenze, ci vogliono circa 25-30 minuti di taxi per arrivare all'appartamento.

The owner was very friendly, kind, and helpful, and the apartment had many good points. The location was excellent. It was very convenient for sightseeing, close to many attractions, but still quiet because it was slightly tucked away from the main busy streets. We were able to start exploring straight away after arriving, which was great. The apartment itself was comfortable and practical. It had everything we needed, including a washing machine, and laundry detergent was also provided, which we really appreciated. The space was nice, with a living area and sleeping area separated by a curtain, plus a sofa. However, there were some important downsides. The biggest issue was the heat. Florence was extremely hot during our stay, and there was no air conditioning. A fan was provided, but it was quite weak and did not cool the room enough. The room stayed hot even at night. Because of the heat, we tried opening the windows, but then mosquitoes came in and we were bitten during the night. In the end, we had to keep the windows closed, which made the room even hotter. Another downside was the shower. The water pressure was very weak, which was disappointing after walking around in the summer heat. Overall, the location, owner, and facilities were very good, but the heat, mosquitoes, and weak shower pressure made the stay less comfortable.

The best about Pitti Studio is it’s location - amazing. However, the beds were uncomfortable, I’d recommend to replace them. Good stay for a couple of nights.

Veldig sentral leilighet i Firenze - nært alle severdigheter. Romslig leilighet men enkel standard. Lite kjøkken som vi ikke bruket - var mer fristende å gå ut å spise. Anbefales om man trenger et rimelig sted å bo men med enkel standard og nært alle severdigheter.

No human being should have to spend a night here! I booked this place for 3 nights. After dropping off my bags before cleaning time, I returned to the room after midnight. The smell was unbearable, a mix of cigarette smoke, sewage, and mold. I made the mistake of opening the wardrobe to put my clothes away. The odor inside was absolutely disgusting, as if an animal had died there. I seriously considered leaving in the middle of the night. But being on the second floor with no elevator, carrying my heavy suitcase alone, and trying to find a taxi at that hour (Uber is almost impossible in Florence) did not feel safe. So I basically had no choice but to stay the night. In the morning, I noticed a piece of toilet paper covered with brown residue in the bathroom trash bin (!). I ran out of that place as fast as I could and booked another hotel for the rest of my trip. After a lot of back-and-forth with the management company, they refused to refund my money. Honestly, I expected that. But there is no amount of money on earth that would make me stay there another night. Not to mention there was no bottled water, no coffee machine, and the shampoo was so old that nothing would come out when you turned them upside down. Avoid this place at all costs. The property seriously needs to be renovated and properly cleaned before they should even consider renting it to anyone again.

Check in was a bit difficult as communication was not as timely as it should have been (the phone number provided was never answered) so all communication was by email and mine were not always answered. The property was spacious enough but had a dark interior. The location was good, but taxis from the train station (though only a few miles were expensive $25 or so).

This lovely apartment was exactly as advertised. The location is fabulous. Check in was seem less…. The person showed up as soon as I messaged. The host responded very quickly as the apartment needed an adapter to fit the microwave plug …… and I felt they answered all my questions almost immediately. It is a very simple apartment, clean and quiet, considering how close it is to the Pitti Palace. I would highly recommend!
