L'appartamento si trova in un bel palazzo storico situato proprio di fronte a Palazzo Vecchio. Siamo proprio nel cuore del centro storico di Firenze a due passi da tutti i monumenti più importanti e i musei principali della città.

Come arrivare all'appartamento


Dalla stazione ferroviaria di Firenze, Santa Maria Novella, si può prendere un autobus, in particolare la linea C2 di ATAF.
Nei pressi della stazione si può anche prendere un taxi e raggiungere l'appartamento in pochi minuti. Dall'aeroporto Amerigo Vespucci di Firenze ci vogliono invece una trentina di minuti in macchina per arrivare all'appartamento.

The apartment was so beautiful and had so much character we really loved our time there. The pros: the location was elite. We loved stepping out of the front door and stepping straight into Florence living, the ambience was perfect. Stores, restaurants, art, live entertainment, it was everywhere. I couldn’t have asked for a better first time experience in Italy. Everything was very clean, the sheets, the towels, the rooms, everything. We left the living/kitchen area windows open so all the sounds of the outside were coming in and it was so pleasant to hear. Each room had a/c so we could retreat to our cool rooms after the long hot days. The internet was fast and reliable. The cons: The apartment was 4 flights of stairs up, I know it was going to be inevitable and the view was incredible from up there but when you’re 8 people with 20 pieces of luggage it is a rough journey up those steps. Especially after a 20 hour travel day being jet lagged or a day of 20,000 steps. It was tough. The rooms are small and there isn’t much for storage, fortunately we were only there for 3 days and were gone most of the day so we didn’t even bother to unpack. But any longer than that and it would’ve been uncomfortable with the lack of storage space. The main bathroom did clog up so they had to send a repair man in while we were gone, but it did get repaired right away. The washer didn’t close so we weren’t able to use it. Overall it was a great experience and the host was quick to respond.

The location is genuinely excellent — central, walkable, and close to everything, and that's the best thing I can say about this stay. Unfortunately, several things went wrong that future guests deserve to know before they book.First, the listing is incomplete to the point of being misleading. It does not mention that there is no elevator and that the apartment is on the top floor. That's a serious climb with luggage, and it makes this place genuinely unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues, older travelers, or families with young kids. This needs to be stated clearly up front.Cleanliness was also below standard. The dishes were smelly, and there was mold in a few places — not what you expect on arrival.The air conditioning was leaking water through the wall for our most of the stay, which we were left to deal with ourselves.Finally, and most importantly: we were directed to pay through a third-party app instead of through VRBO's own platform. Be very careful here. Paying off-platform means you lose VRBO's payment protection and any real path to a refund — and it lets VRBO treat itself as merely an advertising platform and wash its hands of responsibility. In my experience, this setup felt like a scam. My strong advice: refuse any request to pay outside VRBO, and keep every payment and message inside the platform so you're actually covered.Bottom line: a fantastic location let down by an incomplete listing, cleanliness issues, and an off-platform payment issue.

All the rooms were clean and the apartment was a great size for our group. Sadly one of the rooms had a broken AC unit and would leak if turned on so it had to remain off during our trip. We were told someone would be sent to check it out, but did not get sent anyone to take a look at it. The apartment itself is split in 2 halves, one half has 3 rooms and the living room/kitchen. 2nd half has a mini kitchen and 2 other rooms and a full bathroom. There are a lot of steps in this apartment, 4 flights to get to the apartment and 2 set of stairs inside it to get to different rooms.

Great location, perfect for our big family. Would highly recommend this property especially for longer stays. Great dining room table and kitchen. It’s on the 4th floor and there’s no elevator so be prepared if you have any health challenges. We did have an issue with the heat— one room we couldn’t get the heat off (it was sweltering. In the other room it was cold and we couldn’t get the heat on. Communications

The location was great, and there was plenty of room for our group. The apartment had some minor issues: broken shower door, mediocre air conditioning, some bathroom fixtures that need repair, but overall it met our needs.

Super zentrale Lage!Man konnte für 10 Leute kochen, obwohl es an Grundausstattung zunächst fehlte (kein Salz, Öl, oder Essig). Die Kommunikation verlief reibungslos, wir durften auch früher ins Appartement, obwohl wir beim Check-In auf die Person warten mussten.Ingesamt lustige Bude, es war sehr angenehm!
