Our stay was great. This was conveniently located less than 5 minutes from the train station and removed the need for a taxi. It is also close to the bus station for a day trip to Siena. The accommodations were perfect for what we needed. All the big sites are within a 15-20 minute walk making it the perfect place to just stroll around. We really enjoyed our stay and would consider booking again in the future.

This was a terribly, uncomfortably - impossible for someone with health concerns. After contacting management, them stalling with their responses, and no resolution (like promised: "we'll send a handyman"). No handyman came. We left this home to go elsewhere when nothing was happening to improve the condition of the space. When asked for a refund -- or even a partial compensation, the management was quick to respond that none would be given.

We had a wonderful stay in Florence. Check in was smooth. The apartment was very clean with all the amenities. It was in a great location, with about a 15 minute walk to everything. There are many fantastic restaurants very close to the apartment. I would highly recommend!

Logement spacieux, propre et bien équipé. Les communications avec l’hôte ont été efficaces et l’arrivée à l’aide du concierge facile et agréable. Le gros inconvénient de ce logement est le manque d’insonorisation dans la chambre principale, qui se trouve sur une rue très passante et très bruyante, à toute heure du jour et de la nuit. Il est très difficile d’y dormir sans bouchons pour les oreilles. La climatisation n’était pas très efficace non plus, surtout dans les chambres à l’étage, mais c’était peut être à cause de la canicule qui s’éternise. Dommage car le logement est charmant et tres bien situé, a distance de marche de tout: épicerie, pharmacie, bons restaurants, et la plupart des sites touristiques.

My family and I (5 adults) stayed for 3 nights in July 2026. The property fitted our needs perfectly and provided an excellent base from which to explore Florence. All the tourist/historical sites of interest, the train station and the airport (via the tram) are easily accessible from the apartment. Other reviews have mentioned the top floor location of the apartment and the number of stairs, which is true, but we did not find this to be an issue. Also, the expected occasional traffic noise from the street below due to the city centre location can be well excluded provided care is taken when closing the window to the main bedroom and ensuring the top locking mechanism engages properly. Overall we found the apartment to be clean and in good order, with Oscar providing a comprehensive check in experience. In summary, we’d recommend property to anyone thinking of a similar short city break.

Unfortunately we discovered bedbugs in the living room couch. Our adult son used the couch as a pull out bed and discovered a well fed bedbug in the morning. We called the property owners and VRBO when we realized what it was (we had never seen them before). The property management sent someone quickly to verify (yes, they were bedbugs) but could do nothing for us except offer a refund for any nights we did NOT stay there. I was on the phone with VRBO for over an hour trying to find another place for 6 people on short notice and they could not help me either for a similar rate. It was very stressful and we spent hours dealing with this. Once we left, we had to wash everything thoroughly which is a challenge when travelling. Other issues: hair dryers did not work. Apartment was on the 4th floor with no elevator which I did not see in the listing. Front bedroom was very noisy from the narrow street. Had we not had bedbugs in the couch, it would have been okay, but we received very little help in an unacceptable situation.
