Fabulous location and has a very local, bohemian vibe. It felt like coming “home” after spending a day in the very crowded city center. There are great restaurants right outside the front door in the piazza. Gusta Pizza, Gustapanino, Osteria Santo Spirito. It does have a very active nightlife which my children (young adults) enjoyed. The noise was not a problem. It is a 500 year old apartment, so do not expect an apartment crisply furnished by IKEA. It has more character and charm than any place I’ve ever stayed. There is a fabulous market on Sunday mornings. If I didn’t miss my dog, I wouldn’t go home.

This place has so much character and space. It worked well for my family of 5. Very walkable and great AC to keep us cool in the heat wave we had while visiting. Although the Piazza is very lively with restaurants and a market during the day, it’s very dirty… trash in the fountain that was never on and there was a homeless man that sleeps by the door. That all left an unpleasant odor. We also had a problem with gnats in the unit which I think was because the garbage had not been taken out from the previous guests. I notified the management company and they just apologized. Overall I would stay again, the place itself is great! But the downside was just the piazza and the flies.

Gorgeous, clean and the front door opens right onto the piazza where there are many great restaurants and a gelato shop. Though it is right in the middle of a vibrant night life, the apartment was quiet. It has a downstairs, cellar level bedroom, living room and bath and the same on the main level, along with the kitchen. We were given just one key however, and told we could not have two, so we had to ensure that we all coordinated our returns to the apartment in the evening. Worth the inconvenience for such a stellar location. Walking distance to Ponte Vecchio and Pitti Palance.

This was my favorite property in Italy. Located right in the Piazza so extremely walkable. The decor is very charming. The apartment is located on the first floor so no lugging bags up flights of stairs! Hosts are very communicative. They offer amenities like extra pillows, blankets, etc. definitely recommend!

Very centrally located. We had travel delay so check-in got a little wonky but ended up working out.

The location was absolutely perfect, place is beautiful and things were well explained with the exception of the washer. The place has a couple of quirks but we had a great stay

Excellent, excellent apartment and location. We communicated through Whatsapp and were met with the key and for a tour as soon as we arrived. The apartment is gorgeous, very comfy beds, quiet, comfortable sitting areas for visiting and relaxing. There is a washer/dryer, a bar/cafe directly next door for your morning cafe latte and pastry. It’s ON the Santo Spirito piazza, mornings were a leisurely waking up to life in Florence, with neighbors walking their dogs and taking children to school. The cathedral bells going iff in the morning just lent to the beautiful experience. I’m so glad we chose this away from the tourist area. We visited with my mother, and so were careful about how much we walked. The apartment was great for her on the ground floor. A short distance away is a taxi stand in front of the Pitti Palace. We also asked the people at the bar next door for help calling a taxi, that was more reliable than calling ourselves, and they can pick you up at a spot in the piazza. Several great cafes right there on the piazza, and gelato!

It’s a lovely place, centrally located near great restaurants and breakfast places and position quite near the river and the bridges. Our only complete is the scent in the upstairs bedroom. It was very strong and unusual and made it a little difficult to sleep for me. Otherwise it is highly recommended because it has so many positive amenities.
